The 6.4-liter version is built around a 90-degree, cast-iron cylinder block with a deep-skirt design. The 6.4 Hemi engine block features piston cooling jets. Oil jets, or squirters, spray engine oil on the bottom of each piston to remove combustion heat. This is one of the reasons why 6.4 Hemi V8s come with an oil-to-water oil cooler. Besides that, the 6.4L V-8 is equipped with revised connecting rods made of higher-strength powder metal material and new, larger-diameter flat-top pistons.

With 470 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, it's the same engine that SRT uses in hot-rod versions of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Challenger, and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The AEV JK Snorkel now comes standard with an Air Ram inlet, which is designed to draw in fresh air and separate rainwater from the air charge. It is incredibly rugged and well suited for wooded terrain where impacts with trees and branches are likely.

For vehicles that are exposed to dry, desert terrain where heavy dust is likely, an all-new self-cleaning Pre-Filter Assembly is available as an optional accessory. The Pre-Filter Assembly is used in both heavy-duty military and commercial vehicles worldwide because of its rugged construction and extremely long service life.

The maintenance-free, self-cleaning design separates dirt and debris from the air charge and ejects the debris out of the Pre-Filter Assembly as the vehicle travels down the road.

It is true, the sport of four-wheeling starts out innocently enough with a basic rig and some basic trails-that is, until you get the itch for some more ground clearance to tackle those tougher trails. To achieve more ground clearance, you need to upsize your tire size. The 4.56 gear ratio is best for towing and performance. Makes the Jeep much more fun to drive.

Having a stronger differential cover can provide extra safety for pickup owners with high-horsepower engines or for those who head off-road. Many aftermarket covers are thicker than factory covers, sporting additional cross bracing for improved strength and cooling. All of this helps keep the ring-and-pinion gear correctly aligned, provides more protection during impacts, and increases the rigidity of the axle and differential.

The AEV JK Slider is a smooth differential skid plate that is designed not only to keep you from getting hung up on your differential but also to protect the lower CV joint.

AEV’s 1/8” thick, stamped steel Front Skid Plate is not only good looking, but protects your sway bar, impact beam, and steering as well. The Front Skid Plate is designed to work with both our Premium Front Bumper and Tubeless Front Bumper. It has two dedicated lift points for a Hi-Lift Jack that holds the tongue in place beneath the bumper safely and prevents the jack from sliding sideways during use.

The Dynatrac ProGrip™ Brake System comes with larger rotors for the front and rear, providing improved braking by moving the factory calipers farther from the axle centerline. The increased rear braking power provides balanced braking, reducing nosedive and dramatically improving the control of the vehicle in mild and hard braking conditions compared to upgrades that only address the front brakes. Significant research was done to select the optimum front and rear brake-pad linings to balance the system and provide additional stopping power.

AEV's new 10-Gallon Fuel Caddy fuel storage system is for use with AEV's Rear Tire Carrier. This new product takes full advantage of the unused space both inside the wheel of the spare tire and just behind it. The result is 10.2 gallons of secure and nearly invisible fuel storage.

AEV’s ProCal Module for the 2007-18 JK Wrangler is a hand-held powerhouse! This essential tool provides JK owners an easy, low-cost way to make a variety of useful changes not offered by the dealer or any other re-programmer. Topping the list is the ability to correct the speedometer and gear ratio when larger tires are installed. When the speedometer is left uncorrected, there is a major degradation in the performance of the stability control (ESP), transmission shifting, and engine performance. The best part of the ProCal is that it isn’t just for correcting the speedometer. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System can now be recalibrated to better suit aftermarket tires without triggering the dash light. Further, the ProCal Module makes it possible to activate daytime running lamps, “one-touch” turn signals, enable a temporarily increased engine idle speed for winching, clear engine codes, and even has a feature to help alignment technicians align the vehicle perfectly for optimal ESP performance. The ProCal Module is equipped with a series of easy-to-use DIP switches. By reading the simple Quick Reference Guide included with the ProCal module, a user can quickly dial in a code for the desired recalibration. Once the DIP switches are set, simply plug the Module into the vehicle’s OBDII. The whole process can be completed in mere minutes and it’s just as easy to restore the vehicle back to its original settings with the ProCal.

AEV’s Jack Base provides 3-1/2 inches of additional lift height to the stock Wrangler’s “scissor” jack – allowing tires of up to 37″ or more to be changed with ease and stability. Many people don’t realize that the stock jack won’t work to change larger tires until it’s too late, leaving them stranded on the side of the road or worse, on the trail.

The large 7.5″ x 10.5″ base gives the jack better stability in off-road and soft soil conditions. Handy compartments in the base store your AEV lug nut extension and the OE wheel lock key. The Jack Base is shaped to fit neatly into the JK’s rear floor compartment and can also double as a wheel chock to prevent a disabled vehicle or trailer from rolling.

Warn winches are known as being among the best in the industry. The Zeon 10-S is a 10,000 lb winch featuring a 100-foot SpyduraTM synthetic winch rope and a Hawse fairlead. The Large diameter winch drum reduces rope wear and weight.

The AEV CHMSL (Center High-Mount Stop Light) is a necessity for on and off-road safety when you’ve added a larger spare tire to your tire carrier. The addition of a larger spare tire will often block or require the removal of the factory 3rd Brake Light. The CHMSL is designed to work with all AEV wheels and most factory five-spoke wheels. Long life, super bright LED’s are directed in three different directions ensuring that other motorists and fellow off-roaders will see you.

Thin wall sockets must be used on all AEV wheels to install and/or remove lug nuts. AEV’s own chrome lug adapter stores neatly in your AEV Jack Base and is used in conjunction with a factory lug wrench. This extension adapter also adds clearance when rotating a lug nut wrench that would otherwise rub on the sidewall of larger tires.

Most States now require that lifted Jeeps utilize splash guards (mud-flaps) to help cover the additional tire tread that lifts expose at the back of the vehicle. The goal is of course to contain the debris the tires pick up from the road. AEV’s Splash Guards were developed to work best on vehicles lifted between 2-inches and 4.5 inches with tires ranging in size between 33-inches and 37-inches. Within this range AEV’s Splash Guards will cover anywhere from ½ to ¾ of the tire’s height. But it is important to remember that lift heights and tire diameters greater than what AEV specifies will reduce coverage.
